Bachelorette Party for Bride in her 30s

My MOH has asked me what I want to do for my Bachelorette Party.  I don't want any embarrassing games or the like, due to my advanced age.  Wink

I'm thinking dinner and then going to bar(s) after.  I'm not really into dancing clubs or meat markets, but fun more mature venues.  Do you have any suggestions?

She suggested Belltown, which I'm not completely adverse to but last time I was there I felt very old.  It might have just been that night though.

Thanks!!

Hmm, what about bars in Queen Anne or Ballard?  Maybe even something in Capital Hill (a gay bar or two could be fun).  I'm 26, and most of my Bachelorette activities will take place in Lower Queen Anne (starting at Tini Bigs).  Fremont and Belltown are both full of the Just-Turned-21 crowd, imo.

I agree about Queen Anne or Ballard being safer choices.  What about Chopsticks in lower queen anne?  I think a piano bar would be really fun for a bachelorette, but that's just me :)

Hmm I am not sure if this works at night. But what about a wine tasting tour? I really want to do one through Woodinville with my OOT family when the time comes.

tulalip casino - canoes cabaret has a live band there on weekends, and the music is usually geared toward older crowds (30's, 40's)..bonus there's a hotel and restaurants, nearby....and if that crowd gets too old for you, the mpluse lounge at the casino is "23+ preferred", and the music there is geared toward just that crowd. i would say the usualy clientele at mpluse is 26+, but a few of the younger ones of course.

I''m knocking on 40, and we did mine by going out to a nice vegetarian resturant (Carmalita) and then to 88keys.  It was a blast!!  The piano players at 88keys were a bit raunchy, but my improv background meant it didn't bother me.  We danced and drank and had a great time. Then we all came back to my house and stayed up even later eating a cake (my friends made me a penis cake!!). It was a blast.

I'm 36 and thinking Teatro Zinzani will be way more fun than a bar crawl.  If you check around there are some evenings that are half price, usually Sundays.  It includes a stellar show, 5 course meal, and lots of fun.  You only pay for drinks and some other thing, I can't remember it.

But why wouldn't you serve ice cream with the cake?
