Wedding Party Tuesday...Continuing into Wednesday......

Okay this is late but Obama was in town and his motorcade shut down 95 both directions right at rush hour.

How has everyone else's day gone?

More icebreaker questions:

Are you engaged or married?

Married Ladies: What is the one thing you wish you had known about your wedding day before it happened?

Engaged Ladies: What are you looking forward to the most on your wedding day?

  • How has everyone else's day gone? Pretty good. Got H's birthday present figured out and we're starting the process of buying a house, so I've been looking at a lot of places our realtor e-mailed me.

    More icebreaker questions:

Are you engaged or married? Hitched

Married Ladies: What is the one thing you wish you had known about your wedding day before it happened?
It will go by SO fast and I wish I would have taken more time to just....be during the day. I had a great time, but I feel like I didn't really get to enjoy it because it was so hectic. I loved our wedding day, but if I had it to do over again, I'd cut the guest list way down and just make the whole thing more relaxed.

  • How has everyone else's day gone?  Busy!  But it was worth it since I covered for a coworker who's little girl had a concussion at school.

    More icebreaker questions:

Are you engaged or married?   Married!

Married Ladies: What is the one thing you wish you had known about your wedding day before it happened?  That I didn't need to get myself so worked up and nervous because it was going to be fine!  I was a bundle of nerves that morning and until we said, "I do."

The day was a little long, but good.  Tomorrow is Avenger Day, and I'm so stoked.  Though I should be going to bed soon, because we're starting with Iron Man at about 5am.

I'm married.  The one thing I wish I'd known (or rather, wish I'd remembered) is that corsets shrink the hell out of your stomach.  I ate hardly any of the delicious food we had at the reception not because I was so busy or nervous, but because I just wasn't hungry.  Once I got the corset off, I was STARVING, but by then, we'd already sent the food away.

  • Sorry I'm late! Hope y'all are still around. How has everyone else's day gone? My day was good but, work is getting hectic and I am 4 mos away from my wedding and I'm getting nervous. On the bright side, we are getting married in Vegas and we booked our flights today. Yay. More icebreaker questions: Are you engaged or married? Better than yours since I didn't have to encounter the traffic you did :)

That a "first look" with DH would have saved a lot of time and given us many, many more pictures of us from our wedding day.  We definitely didn't schedule enough time for pictures of just the two of us.  We were rushed and because of that the posed pics of us looked stiff.

Where in Vegas?  We did the whole thing in-suite at Mandalay Bay.  I'm kind of a Vegas addict now.

  • How has everyone else's day gone?  Seeing as how it's now Wed., yesterday was a really good day.  Nothing exciting really, but did get a haircut, so that was good....and much needed too.  So far, today is pretty good too :)

    Are you engaged or married?
    Married :)

Married Ladies: What is the one thing you wish you had known about your wedding day before it happened?  That it was going to be 40+mph winds on the beach and that we should have pulled my hair back, so it wouldn't look like I had just taken a roll in the hay once we finally made it to the reception, lol.  That's ok though, I rocked that sh!t!!  ;)  Ohhhh...and that my H's jerkface boss and his wife, who added their 4 kids a few days before the wedding, didn't bother showing up at all.  I was soooo pissed when I found out about that.  An entire table was wasted....but we ended up with the extra food, so that was a perk.

  • Better late than never OBX.  This would have been started earlier last night but my 45 minute commute turned into 2 1/2 hours. At least when Biden comes home to Philly he makes sure it is at off peak driving hours.  My dinner last night was leftover mashed potates and fried chicken gravy.  I was productive enough though to take the rest of the chicken and make chicken noodle soup for dinner tonight.

I love mashed potatoes.....and gravy....and chicken.  I'm coming over for dinner tonight!  ;)

I like that you started this thread btw.  Keep doing it :)

  • Hopefully more people will start to join in.  It's sort of a combo of the old WP Tuesdsay threads and Stina's WP Questions of the Day that she did every morning.

Nice!  PH has nice suites.  We were really happy with the in-suite arrangement, it ended up saving us a small fortune by doing both the ceremony and reception there.
