Officiant Troubles

I am having some difficulty finding an officiant.
Origionally we were going to get married in the town hall ($50 fee to the judge).
Every officiant I find online wants $300-$700 fee!
We have a very small group and only want a VERY short, simple & non-religious ceremony. $:\$

Any suggestions ?

Have a close friend become ordained online, register in New York and marry you. Most people will be happy to be a part of the wedding

This is link to the Wall Street Journal Article on the subject. Our friend performed a ceremony for mutual friends. We were so blown away we decided to have him do our wedding. Here is the link to the WSJ arrticle. It looks like it is a very fast process. Good Luck!
