Show off your Rings!

I -love- looking at other people's engagement rings! I've actually been a little diamond obsessed since FI proposed. I like to tell him that he created a monster :P

I haven't seen another post like this on here, so let's get this started for some pretty things to look at on this Monday morning!

If you want to post stats on your diamonds that's fine too!

I'll start with mine! I've been too lazy to take my DSLR, Macro Lens, and ring outside to take a nice flower shot in the sun-- so all my photos are inside (with bad light) with my nice camera or outside with my iPhone... oddly enough the iPhone pics are best! I can't wait to get our engagement pics this week, she did a LOT of ring shots

Mine is a classica cut diamond (see cut below) which is an original cut. It's got the step cut facets like an asscher but has the sparkle like a round or princess cut.

.74 carats, F color, S12 with 14k white gold channel-set cathedral setting with .26 carats of rounds. So a perfect 1 carat total

And here's my to-be wedding set!

And one of the few photos I've taken with my nice camera-- this was the day after he proposed on the ornament my mom gave us in our gift basket the night he proposed

She gave us a cute gift basket with handmade margarita glasses, a pitcher, alcohol to make margaritas, limes, and a book of 101 margarita recipes and this cute little ornament

Here's mine!!! It is a 1 carat center stone with a quarter carat worth of diamonds down the sides. I absolutely love it!

Beautiful ring Brea! We have a similiar setting

Mine is actually a round cut diamond in a square, art deco vintage setting. Unfortunately I don't remember all the stats on it, but all together with the center stone and the small side stones it equals 1 carat.

My wedding band is a white gold eternity band with the diamonds going all the way around. I believe this is a 0.17 of a carat. I love the whole set and think they look beautiful together!

I LOVE mine! The FI couldn't have made a better choice!

It's a .5 carat diamond, with 86 smaller diamonds around it and in the band.

So the detailing is hard to see of my wedding set in pictures, so the first one is a stock pic. It has round diamonds that create a flower and then a baguette diamond in between the flowers. They go all the way around and 41 of them on each band.

Here's a pic taken from an e-pic shot. It's been edited, so I think it looks kind of cool. The princess is 1.60, yes I've nicknamed it, the princess

everybodys rings are so pretty!!!!!!!! i LOVE sparklies!!

this is mine:

its 1.25ct, princess cut, clarity F, color D, set in white gold with a crown of .20. My wedding band is 1ct tw of 13 princess cut diamonds channel set in white gold, with matching cut, clarity and color of my ering so it doesnt look yellow. I also have a polished titanium band for work.

Mine is a 1ct Radiant cut diamond set in platinum. And since my band is plain I really wanted diamonds on my wedding band...you ladies all know that story

How many of you were involved in the ring selection process?

FI picked mine out on his own. The jeweler he got it from had a 100 day guarantee (100 days from the proposal, not from the purchase) so if I didn't like it I could completely change it, setting, diamond, everything with no penalty. I didn't even want to look! I love what he got even though it's not what I had thought I wanted. I never even thought about having diamonds on the band... I don't think I even knew that was an option. I had only seen solitares & 3-stones before. Goes to show what I know

Everyone's rings are so pretty! I don't know any of the details of mine except that I really love it! From looking at it, I can see it has a certain diamond that's bigger and 12 smaller diamonds on each side of the swirl. Many friends have told me it looks the top of a cupcake.

My FI picked mine out all on his own, I had hinted at other styles but he fell in love with this one, it's Really really sparkly in person and I love it! It's a 1/2 carat Tolkowsky round cut in cathedral setting white gold. We haven't picked out my wedding band or his yet, but I wanna add more diamonds (hopefully they'll be just as sparkly), so I'm thinking of getting a solitaire enhancer style band.

Mine is very similar to Venus', but with a radiant cut diamond in the middle. I actually haven't taken any pics of it, I've been wearing it for 16 months now so I guess the newness has worn off, but I love it!

Mine is similar to Tiffany's except there is a round center stone. It is just over 1 carat in the center and another .6 in smaller surrounding diamonds, and antiquing all on the edging. I love it!! My band is just a simple eternity band with 1 carat of diamonds around, all individually pronged. I plan on wearing my e-ring on my right hand and my band on my left:)

I gave FI ideas for my e-ring, but he picked it out on his own. All I said was round diamond and a halo type setting (small diamonds surrounding the center stone).

I'm on my laptop so all my wedding pics aren't on this computer...but FI got me my dream ring...it's a Leo from Kay's (every kiss begins with Kay...I hear that song every time I say the store's name!) I sent pics of my ring to FI while he was deployed in 2001 to Afghanistan...funny how he remembers!
