I swear to shiit, my phone never rings unless it's one minute before I go on the air.  WTF, PEOPLE.  WHY DO YOU THINK IT'S OKAY TO CALL A RADIO STATION AT THE TOP OR THE BOTTOM OF THE HOUR. These are people I deal with all the damn time.  They should know better.
Posted by AllAboutTheBenjamin
HAHAHAHAHA - because, no one who's not in radio realizes it. I've had to explain that you can always tell when it's the top of the hour because you'll hear a legal ID to so many people. It's like they never realized it before.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for him AATB.  Hopefully, he'll hear soon.  My H's new job sucks balls so he's been looking.  He had a phone interview today that went REALLY well.  Here's hoping.

I hope he gets it!

• FOR REAL LDY.  IT'S CRAY.

And thanks, JCB.  Ben really needs this job.  He's been working in a smaller bank for like, seven years.  There is no room for advancement because no one freaking leaves.  His interview was at a larger local branch with several locations throughout the area - much more room for growth there, KWIM?  He needs this bad.  He took a little longer to finish school, but it's been like two years.  His current job is part time, but six days a week.  SO frustrating.  And there are things we want to do in the next couple years that we simply cannot do if we are not making more money.  GAH.

Funny thing is that I'm going to be moving near extended family who are also originally from NoDak (Stanley and Argusville).

I'm studying Art History with an emphasis in American Art. So... defintiely outside the realm of the Midwest. I'll actually miss NoDak... but I know a lot of people are dying to get out.

<div>Hi.  I like you.</div>
• I couldn't leave, Lamb.  I'm way too connected here - family, work, bleh bleh bleh.  My mom is from Southern California originally and I've thought about moving there, but I just couldn't.  I think it's cool though.  I mean, you know what you want and what you gotta do to get it!

And yeah lots of people do end up leaving, but the way it's been going here for the past few years, a fair share of people have been wanting to get in :)

Right AATB--My FI and I both grew up in the midwest and we are both kinda bummed about moving to a bigger city. We like things like land and space and snow so we're hoping once I'm done with school we can move back. I couldn't really imagine raising small humans anywhere else.

Job vibes for your H, AATB.

I only have one required meeting a week. I always try not to fall asleep. I'm fortunate to be in a very small department (3) and our offices are next to each other. We don't really need to have a meeting to discuss stuff, we just talk all day.

Omg there is no way in hell I would raise kids anywhere but here, lol.  Or at least somewhere like here.

I really hated my hometown growing up (Devils Lake) but now I see it's such a great place to raise a family.  But now with all the shiit that's happening there I don't want to live there.

ETA - thanks for the good job vibes for Ben, ladies :)

<div>I just got my BA in Museum Studies, but if I were to go back to school, it would be for Art History and I would want to eventually concentrate on American art on the east coast in the 50s and 60s.  Or maybe art on the west coast in the 80s. </div>
• Omg, Koda.  Just reading that pissed me off.  /raaaaaaaaaaage stupid idiots

• Dude, what did she think you were going to do with her account number?  Hack into her "line" and call China?  Yeesh.
• Obviously koda was going to steal her account number and steal her identity... by using all her texts, minutes and data.  DUH.

Quit being such a crook, koda.  Crook.

• It doesn't sound like she's making the best of impressions as a new employee, lol!

• That's nuts Koda.  I've dealt with people like that here too - usually regarding travel arrangments.  I had one lady that I needed her passport or visa number and when I asked for it she replied "Well, I only have a mastercard and I'm not giving that number out.".  She was sweet at least though.

Ha, Koda, I love the "9 a.m. and 31 seconds" screenshot. Whattabitch. I hope she felt like an assjack, but I'm guessing not.

• Koda, that royally sucks. I can't stand people like that.

My supervisor tried to tell me the other day that I don't help people at work and insinuated that I'm not "on board" with doing my job. It pissed me off the rest of the day and then some. Apparently because I don't spend my day chatting and I'm not loud and I sit in the corner, I don't help people. Never mind the dozens of emails and IMs I get every day. I just don't send in my reports every second (helping people can hurt our production times if it takes awhile, so we send in reports so our time is comped. The other Tier 2s send in every little second, I don't because it doesn't hurt my time).
• I have 2! 1. Work: I know ou have mental illnesses, but don't call me at 4:45 on Friday crying and begging to see me Monday then not show up. I missed lunch sitting on my ass waiting for you. Also, don't call at 4:50 saying you are going to kill yourself drunk off your ass then expect to come in to see me right then. Call the crisis line like you know to do! Also, ok lpc's. I get it. You got your masters while I did not. Tht doesn't mean you get to pick and choose who you see. Stop going me every borderline that walks in the door. Axis ii diagnosis go to, you know, therapists!! 2. Dear doctor, it's been an hour. I saw you go into the break room. My appointment is the last for your day. Don't take a break and leave me waiting. It's just rude entitled ass!!!
