</div><div>I don't know what kind of education you're looking to gain, but I see that you're from the Houston area. Lamar University has one of the best ASL programs around. </div><div>
</div><div>But again, I don't know that you're looking for a college education in ASL, but they're outstanding. You could, however, contact their department and seek out info about ASL education that isn't college-level if that's what you're looking for. Lamar is a go-to for ASL, so they have lots of connections.
In Response to Re: Is there an evening thread? : I was just thinking this actually.  I kind of get someone saying, "Hey, my vendor didn't specify an amount in the contract, what do you suggest?"  But a restaurant?  Isn't that just common sense?
    Posted by edielaura
<div>Most of the restaurants that I know of will set a gratuity amount for parties over a certain number. Which is cool. When I waitressed I can't tell you how many times I got screwed over by a large party on a single ticket.  I really don't mind set tips on large parties. They're so much harder to serve, and there is always, ALWAYS a diva.  Always.</div>

So was I.  It was  HUGE let down.  The script was terrible, the acting was mediocre (especially considering the cast), and the plot was just....yeah.  No.

And, I've never seen any Oliver Stone movies (I know, right?), so I was NOT expecting the ungodly amounts of violence.

Well, if you DO decide to go see Savages, just be prepared.  It's very violent.  It doesn't normally bother me, but I'm usually expecting it.

I mean, on a scale of 1-10 with 1 being the Lion King, 10 being Hostel, and Pulp Fiction hitting at about a 6, this is a 9.
