  There's no need.  We had SOs of our WP at the RD but didn't give them gifts.

  no, WP gifts are just for the WP.  None of their dates would get gifts so her sister doesn't need one either.

  I don't think you need to get her a gift just because she's coming to the RD - however, if she is helping with the wedding then I think a TY gift is in order.  It doesn't have to be anything extravagant, just something to show your appreciation for her help.

  The BM gifts are given at the Bridesmaids Tea or Bridesmaids Lunch, so there is no awkwardness about people being there who are not getting gifts.
