Looking for photographer

I need a photographer that wont charge an arm, leg, and torso for them to take pictures.  We dont want prints or any editing, just the raw images on a cd.  We live in Durham and plan to get married in Surf City.  Any suggestions?

    Girlfrannn I hear you! What's your budget? There are some super overpriced photographers in OBX for sure. We're using BridgetMcEnaney- here's her blog http://bridgetmcenaney.wordpress.com/ She's been awesome to work with so far and I found her here from other knottie recs after posting a similar post about how frusrated i was with the pricing/quality of a lot of local OBX photogs (NOT to hate on anyone using them, they just weren't doing it for me and their prices ESPECIALLY weren't doing it for me). She's more affordable and I love her style since we were looking for someone who wasn't going to spend the whole day posing us and being really intrusive. I'm not sure you can find a pro who just flat out won't edit the photos at least some but I know printing with her is optional. Good luck!

    I totally understand what you are saying. Photography takes a big chunk of out your budget that most don't plan for.
    I am getting married in 13 days!! We are using Chris Nieto. He isn't from the OBX, but is willing to travel. I forget how I even stumbled upon him. He has a FB page and a website. I'm at work or else I would post these. I can later when I get home. Anyways, we are getting 6 hrs of coverage with all rights to photographs(we didnt want prints either) for under $1000. I really like his style of work, it isn't for everyone. I know a few other girls have looked into him as well.

    A lot of girls have been raving about Matt Lusik(sp?) He is a lot cheaper than most and his work is amazing!! Not sure of his packages/pricing though.

    We are using Matt Lusk.  Love, love, LOVE him.  Met him and his wife on Monday here in the OBX on our vacation.  Talk about a laid back couple and know what they are doing!  Photography is important to me, and it was important to get all rights to our pix.  We are paying $2,500(what we budgeted for) and are getting all day coverage(8 hours), 2 photographers(him and his wife), a TTD session the next day, 3 DVD's in high resolution, a $250 photo credit, and posting of photos for 2 years.  Awesome, awesome deal.  His work is phenominal.  I can't rave more about him.

    He does have cheaper package pricing that i'd be willing to share with you if this is too much, he sent me a pricing sheet.

    Philly...do you know what he charges just for a TTD??? my brother was planning on doing this for us but is leaving very early the following day to fly back to Calif. Looking for someone who is reasonable. Thanks

    @Kelsey Just looked at pricing sheet.  It's $200 for a TTD session AND that includes a DVD with the images.
