I hate my side burns

Undecided

I'm thinking of getting my side burns threaded. I usually wear my hair down because I don't like my side burns. I hardly wear my hair up because of my side burns too. I'm envisioning my hair in a nice up do for my big day but I know I will hate my side burns!

Does anyone have the same problem? I get my eye brows threaded right now so I'm thinking if I get my side burns threaded I'll get rid of my problem and it wont hurt too much. Is this my best option? Should I think of shaving, waxing or anything else??

Thanks in advance!

  • I'm very pale and I'm French so I know your problem.  Even though my hair is dark blond/light brown it's still noticable.  I'm a hairy girl too. lol.  I pluck so many areas it's not even funny.  DO NOT SHAVE!!!  The best thing to do would be to do electrolysis or laser hair removal...  But if you're like me and don't have the extra money, that's not an option.  I also don't have the extra cash to pay for regular waxing.  I find that buying an at home wax kit (and practice) is the best option.  Then just pluck the stray hairs.  Just remember that it needs to be 1/4" for the wax to grab it.  This is the cheapest way.

Also don't go crazy... if you go to high up on your hair line it won't look natural.  I just go up to about the tragis.  I'm not sure if that's what it's called but that's what the piercing is called.

    Hope this helps.

  • Thank you so much for responding. I feel a bit better & its good to know I'm not the only Bride to be with side burns <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-smile.gif" border="0" alt="Smile" title="Smile" />

I think I'll try waxing! Definitely scared; but willing to try! Thanks again
