How many branches??

Hey everyone, I'm wondering about our centerpieces--

We've decided to go the branch route, and I'm curious as to how many branches to put on each table?  We bought tall cylinder vases at walmart, and just can't figure out how many will look full, but not stuffed, and not cheap!

    I"m doing branches also, with some fill-in of fresh flowers at the bottom. Hard to say how many without knowing what style you have. If you have a "spreading style" like a manzanita, with branches sticking sideways, and things like votives, flowers or crystals hanging on the branches, one would be fine. If you are using straight up "sticks", probably enough to almost fill the vases, if there is nothing else in them.
