Bridal Shower Dress/Outift

My shower is still 2 months away, but I want to buy a new dress to wear for it, but I have no idea where to start! All the showers I've ever gone to have been in spring/summer and people wore sundresses. I really don't want to wear a sundress in November.

Do any of you know what you will be wearing to your shower?

I have a few different dresses I have purchased that I will be choosing from among for my bridal shower, bachelorette party and rehearsal dinner. They are nicer dresses but not too nice that I think will work well and are not summery at all.

I just bought two at Express a few weeks ago when they were having a 30% off sale. Here they are if you need some inspiration.

My other dresses are similar to the dresses above but I bought earlier in the year (when all the winter 2011 stuff went on sale). Since your shower is going to be in the November time frame you also could not go wrong with a cute sweaterdress and some amazing boots

This is what I wore to my shower last month. My mom bought it for me (she's standing next to me in the picture) to wear to a nicer wedding last year. I got a ton of compliments on it and felt so pretty!!

I had the same probelm but I live in FL so I can still get away with wearing a dress. Im having mine Sept 22(which is also my bday). I think astacey gave you some great options, def go with a fall dress.

astacey - thanks for all the ideas!! I love the dresses you linked too. Also, I never thought of a sweater dress! It probably will be cold enough in PA in November to wear one. I actually bought a really cute red one to wear for Christmas 2 years ago and never got to wear. I might have to search that out of the closet and try it on.

My shower was this past sunday, and I just wore jeans and a nice top because we are a casual bunch

Min is October 20th. I live in Miami so I'm definitely wearing a dress but I would go with a cut sweater dress, especially in PA. I have a friend who also wore jeans a nd a cute top to her brunch shower in Jersey. I think it also depends on the style of the shower. I would say just wear something that makes you feel pretty.

I am wearing a quarter sleeve dress, knee length, with full length leggings and boots. And a sweater of sorts, because I am always cold. We do a dressy casual thing, nice shirt and jeans or whatever you want to wear.
