We finally made a decision and...

We finally decided we wanted to get married at iberostar rose hall in Jamaica and they don't have our date!

. They have the day before (we wanted 11/10/12, and they have the 9th), I know it doesn't sound like a big deal and my FI thinks I'm crazy but I'm just disappointed. I can be a little superstitious and I'm just hoping it's not a sign... Am I crazy?

Just to clarify, not a sign on the wedding... That I couldn't be more sure of! But a sign for the resort... Ugh

Sorry they don't have your date. Maybe it's a sign that the 10th will be a bad day! That's how I would take it!!

O bummer I am sorry they didn't have your day! I know that since 11/10 is a Saturday it fills up super fast since they only do one wedding a day. I think 11/9/12 sounds like a great date! I am getting married on a friday too!

Congrats on your decision! I think the 9th sounds like a great day and wouldn't think of it as a sign for anything...

My parents were married on the 9th so I think it's a great number for a wedding day...

Thanks ladies, after sleeping on it I'm feeling better. We submitted the request for the 9th and now we'll see- cross your fingers that date hasn't booked in 24 hours... Ahh I didn't realize how anxious I'd get over this! Lol I'll let you know hoe it works out!

My FI has made me realize that when unexpected disappointments come up it is because it was not meant to be. I have to keep this in perspective and so should you ! The 9th is going to be awesome
