On my couch, knotting, once again.  I got my laptop today!!!  And am so happy to not be stuck on my desktop every night now!

Anyone else around?  I just had another wife stop by with her crazy kids for an hour and they made me want to pour a glass of wine already.  So I probably will do that.

    YAY for the new laptop.

    I'm here. Gonna read for awhile and then hit the sack. We stayed up way too late last night and I need to get caught up on sleept. Thursday & Friday are going to be extremely long days for me.

    That stinks.  I keep saying I'll make it an early night but then I end up emailing with H for a bit at night.  It stinks because we can only talk early in the morning or late and night because of the time difference.

    I'm here!  I spent about 3 hours today trying to get supplies to make my little kitty house.  I went to Home Depot and I hate that place, I can never find anything.  Then I went to a farm supply store and got the straw.  H has to go see if he can find the right tube/pipe thing tomorrow.  I got one at Lowes, after walking around the whole store.  It was 10 feet long and I had to go to the outdoor garden department to get it.  So then I had to carry it thought the whole store.  It's only 4 in in diameter though, so we're either going to have to cut it, or hes going to see if he can find a 7 in one.  He was here for sure last night, and I was really hoping to get it together and out there tonight.  It's supposed to be really cold tonight.
    I was also good today and did the 30 Day Shred.
    Yay for laptops!

    Oh yeah, I forgot about that. Your H is in the Navy, right?

    My cousin's H is in the Army (he was previously in the Navy when they lived in VA) and he is getting ready to go to Afghanistan for a year. I know so many people whose H are getting ready to leave at the first of the year.

    Yay for working out KJB!  I took the dog for 2 walks today but that was my extent of working out.

    Yes he is in the Navy.  I really can't complain since we are beyond lucky with how much we get to email and talk, it just stinks that for the most part we're sleeping while the other is awake.

    No, he was too tired. I get so sick of begging him sometimes, even though he has lost more weight than I have. I guess I don't really need to lose as much as he needs to. He promises me he will go with me tomorrow, so I really need to hold him to it.

    Stewie is pretty sacked out right now.  I figure if I walk him around the complex twice during the day I don't feel bad just letting him on the leash out back early in the morning and late at night.  

    He actually is going to be woken up soon so that I can take a video of him.  I bought him a Christmas snowman toy a couple weeks ago but waited to give it to him until the Flip camera came in so I record him getting it and send it to H.

    YAY for laptops DNB.  :)  

    Yay for working out KJB.  I did other stuff, a few trips up and down stairs with laundry and suitcases (moving them from the basement to the attic), dishes, a little vacuuming (I spilled some cereal on the floor).  I took the Entourage DVD out of the player and put No More Trouble Zone into the DVD player, and then I turned it off.  I will work out tomorrow.

    PS - KJB - I love your new sig pic... I am still waiting for my pro pics.  *Sigh*.  My photog posted another wedding blog yesterday.  Apparently she did two weddings the first weekend in September so we advanced 1 day.  FML.

    Loopy I have told myself "I'll do laundry tomorrow" for the past 3 days.  Still haven't done it.  My big accomplishment for the day was getting the recordable book in the mail for my Godson.

    My problem is getting the laundry folded and put away. I get it washed ok, but it just seems to sit in the laundry basket for a few days.

    Oh yeah I have that same problem Missy.  I didn't do laundry until about 2 weeks after H left, and when I went in the laundry room I found a bushel of clean clothes in there from 2 weeks before.  They were so wrinkly I had to wash them again.  I hate folding and putting away though.

    I have two baskets on the couch - H keeps moving them to the floor so he can sit on the couch at night - and I did two loads today.

    This was my conversation when I got home from work and the grocery tonight:

    FI: We're out of toilet paper
    Me: Are you serious???
    FI: Yeah I found out the hard way this morning
    Me: Why didn't you tell me to pick some up when I asked if you needed anything from the grocery?!?!

    So now I'm here trying to hold it until FI gets back from the gym and *hopefully* getting some TP. Undecided

    Very nice Andy.  It's sad but sometimes I get disappointed when people come over at night and I can't knot.  Haha I look forward to our nightly thread!  You ladies are my main support system while H is gone.

    I am extremely lucky that H is good about laundry.  He actually is better at doing it than I am, and we do our laundry together.  I will go 3-4 weeks in between loads though just because I can.  But it sucks that when I finally do wash it I have tons to put away at once.

    Birdie - that's too funny.  I told H to go to Sam's Club on Friday after work cause I had less than half a roll of TP left.  He called and asked if he could go Saturday after work instead - I told him as long as I didn't run out of TP before he got home from Sam's Club he could go whenever.  I ran out Saturday after he was home.
