Day of Wedding Planner?

Hi Girls!
Did anyone use and have a recommendation for a Day of Wedding Planner?

I am thinking of having one, just curious your thoughts...

    I'm using Lauren Paige and Associates.  So far she seems on top of things.  Won't really know 'til November though.

    I'm also using Lauren for full planning and she is fantastic.  Very organized and easy to work with.

    I loved my DOC!  I used Katie from Sara Kate Events and she was wonderful to work with.  She kept the day running smoothly and me stress free.  I highly recommend her!!  sarakateevents@gmail.com

    I'm also using Lauren Paige Associates. My wedding is 9/4/10 so I will have a better review after that. So far though, she has been incredibly easy to work with, affordable, and on the ball.

    I spoke with a couple of people including Katie. We are using JoAnn from What Dreams Are Made of. She happened to be the least expensive, but I was really impressed with her professionalism and her references. She definitely knows how to fix things when they go wrong and seems quite thorough. Of course, I also won't know how she is until our actual wedding-October. 

    We also met with Sage from Hudson Valley Events, and Karin from CInderella for a Day.

    One of my best friends (I was one of the bridesmaids)  used Karin from Cinderella for a day and we both thought (as well as the MOB) that she did a sub par job.  She was very overwhelmed, not on top of things and generally unprepared.  She also took credit for a lot of things she didn't do that the bride herself did.  I would not recommend her.

    Hi girls if you don't mind me asking how much is a wedding planner for the day? It sounds like a great idea...I know that I am going to be stressing the day of making sure that everything runs smoothly and on time. Thanks

    I'm paying $750 for Lauren Paige Associates. She runs "specials" all the time so it was a little chaper then her regular price. It seems like a lot (at least it did to me) but in the grand scheme of the wedding, it was very little to ensure my peace of mind, and that the day went off without a hitch. HTH!

    I am using Sara Kate Events also!  Katie is so nice and easy to work with.  I liked her as soon as I spoke with her on the phone and then when we met, I knew I had to have her!  She just put me at ease immediately.
