Tanning Salons

I need some recs for tanning salons.  Any suggestions?

p.s. I know all the lovely health dangers, but I have 12 days to get a tan, and I haven't had time to sit outside.

Have you considered spray tanning? I know they can come out looking orange but I would encourage looking for a place that does airbrush tanning where they spray it right on you. I have had some fantastic airbrush tans--they look like the real thing without the risk of looking too red!

i highly recommend spray tans. and splurge for the ones where they 'paint' you themselves rather than by the machine...much better. never gotten one in this area but i'm sure you'll get some other recs around here.

Test the spray tan first though! It can sweat off you onto your dress.

I've heard great things about Mukha, she's pricey, but the july board was saying that its best to be fully exfoliated first, because that is why most people willl peel, and she does the exfoliation then the tan application.  Maybe I'll make an appt this week, then get the touch up session (or full on if I feel it's necessary) next week.

Not sure what area of town you're in but I love my tanning salon in Dublin (yes I know the health risks too but still!). It's Bronze Tan Studios on Sawmill in the Kroger Market Place (near Hard and Sawmill).

They have awesome beds and if you're a new customer, your first week is free in the basic bed or for $10 you can use any of the beds for the whole week. One of their beds is amazing for newbies cause it only uses UVB (or maybe UVA, I don't remember which is which) anyway, it only uses the rays that won't burn you. So even someone super pale can tan the whole 16 mins and not ever get burnt.

Jolie Laide! I have not tried them but all my friends from school used them and they looked amazing. They have 10 dollar tuesdays, originally it is 40 dollars (but i would pay it for my wedding) and it is a lady who sprays you and we had graduation on Saturday and they all still looked really good.

They said it did not stain any of their clothes either so that is a good thing and it is better than the machine because it is a person getting every part.

I went to the Polo Tan in Gahanna and it turned out great! I would suggest going Tuesday before a Saturday wedding. It costs $40 for the entire body but I found a coupon online for $10 off. Wear old clothes for the first day because it does rub off the first few hours but all of the stains came out in the washing machine.
