Ask Me Anything!

I'm about 50 posts away from Gold!  I'll be around all day writing papers so ask away!

Re: Ask Me Anything!

  • What do you want to do once you get your degree?

How did you and your H meet?

What is your favorite thing about spring? Least favorite?

  • Ooo nice!  How long have you and H been married?  What was your favorite moment in your wedding?

    Anniversary

  • What do you want to do once you get your degree?

I'm actually pretty sure I want to get my PHD in Linguistic because I want to do research in Historical Linguistics or syntax.

How did you and your H meet?

We meet at a mutual friend’s birthday party in HS

What is your favorite thing about spring? Least favorite?

I love all the warm days, sunshine, birds singing, flowers blooming, the grass growing greener, and ya I love spring.  The only thing I hate about spring is my allergies.  They are the worst in Spring.  One year I could stop sneezing for 3 months, every day my eyes would water and run. It was terrible.

It was amazing.  We had a bang ending, since earlier H had been stung 7 times by bees when he had stepped on their hive during pictures, and when he went to dip me at the end it put all of the weight on his stings and he dropped me.  LOL.  It was really cute though I just gave him a kiss and laughed.  We have adorable pictures of us sitting on the dance floor. </span></p><div>

  • That is a super cute picture and a great story :)

Have you decided what you are going to do for your 1st anniversary?

  • Aw thanks Beth.

Sort of.  We are going to get a hotel in Livermore where there is some great wine tasting but less expensive than Napa.  I am still hoping to get a massage but it's up in the air depending on how much money the hotel costs us.  We need to book soon.  I think we will book next week.

  • Fun! I would love to have a get away with BF right now but school is making it pretty much impossible.

Right I'm just hanging out while BF does homework. I wanted to go on a hike but it's supposed to rain this afternoon so I suppose that wouldn't have been an option even if he didn't have a lot of homework.

How is your paper writing going?

  • If you could travel anywhere in the world where would you go and what would you do? :)

  • Maybe you guys can arrange a summer get away?  That is basically what ours is.

Could you guys at least go for a walk even if it rains?  I hope you can go for your hike!

The paper is going badly.  I want nothing to do with this paper so that really isn't helping.  I'm on page 4 of 10.  I have a ways to go.  Right now I am reading the other article I am writing about so hopefully that will inspire my writing.  I hate Lit theory.

Since I'm getting married in two weeks to the day, I'd like some advice.  What would you go back and do different on your wedding day?  What did you stress about that you realize was unnecessary?  Where did you go on honeymoon?

Hopefully! I just have to wait for BF to be done with his homework. He has to finish reading a book.

Your paper sounds awful. I have a little bit of homework to do over the break and I'm really dreading it.

For my courtroom communication class we have enlisted people from my rhetorical theory class to re-enact a Supreme Court case. So over spring break me and other girl in class are supposed to go through the transcript and decided what is important and what we can take out so that we can format a script to give to everyone after spring break.

[QUOTE]In Response to Re: Ask Me Anything! : Your link didn't work :(   Oh it is.  You pan brown a whole chicken and pore an oriental tasting sauce over the chicken and finish letting it cook.  Then you make the sauce into gravy and serve with rice.  It has soy sauce, flakes of red chili pepper, and brown sugar.  It's amazing.  I love it so much!  Now I am hungry.  Time to go make some rice lol.  It’s one of my favorite meals.

    That sounds super good!

I don't know why my link didn't work. They are called Chipotle Chicken Fajitas. You cover the chicken in chipotle en adobo and then slice up bell peppers, onion, and garlic. Cook it all together and throw it in a tortilla and it's amazing :)

The only thing that is annoying is any recipe that calls for chipotle en adobo doesn't have you use very much but there is only one size of can we can find to buy it in. So we have a whole a list of recipes we can use when we buy them.
