OMG!!! Well I think the MIL was out of line, BUT I also think that if the girl really did act like that, then she kinda deserved it. I'm a picky eater, but if I was a guest in someones home for dinner, I would not tell them "I'm not going to eat that!" I'd eat whatever they served out of respect. But the MIL didn't have to react that way. She was mad and her first reaction was to email her DIL. The best thing she could have done was just said nothing. This is always why you do not email when mad.

MIL is a complete WACKO! I'm sure some of it could be warranted (two sides to every story right?) but after reading the article again it just seems like MIL is mean and needs some psychological help..

I too agree that if she really did do all those things then she sort of deserved it. A lot of what the MIL wrote in that email, if true, was rude on the girls part to be doing.

It was a mean way to do it, that I agree on. She could have at least put it nicer or actually spoke to her about it, instead of writing this email which is actually pretty cowardly.
