Looking to have a reception at a Long Island restaurant, perf Nassau County under 100 people. Recently purchased a house, got engaged so decided to plan a very intimate reception.

Possible Sunday Brunch is also an idea...

    Prime and Honu in Huntington have great food and can host private parties.  Also Rare650 (I think it's in Syosset) is great, as is Four in Melville.  Most upscale restaurants can and will host private parties - just contact ones you like for information about their private party options.

    maybe you should consider hiring a wedding planner to take the stress out of your planning! we recently hired elite(b)events and she specializes in elegant unique weddings on a budget. so far she is great to work with, has great reviews,very professional, and the best part is she specializes in budget weddings! check her out she may be able to help you.

    Have you checked out XO Restaurant Wine and Chocolate Lounge in Huntington?  They just reopened in a new location and have a great space upstairs that they rent out for private parties (not sure how many it holds, but worth looking into). I had dinner there recently and decided to plan my engagement party there. www.xowinebar.com
