Is stoned, and still has her tooth.
Her A molar (the first top molar on the upper right jaw) is hurting, bad. The baby tooth hasn't come out yet, isn't even loose, and the adult molar is growing in over it. Her gum is al red and inflamed. She is in major pain. So I took her for an extraction....
Two boluses of Novocane later, she can still feel the doc trying to yank the tooth...she was screaming in the chair. So we were referred to an oral surgeon for sedation dentistry.
I'm going to have to drive her an hour and a half away to get the tooth out Wednesday, other wise I'd have to wait a FREAKING MONTH to have a local doc do it.
It's so ridiculous! Thank God for Hydrocodone.
My kid isn't a p**sy when it comes to pain. She pretty much sucks it up, so when she's in tears I know it's serious.
Still, the Hydrocodone has her stoned, and she's a happy camper. I guess the ADHD and the Hydrocodone don't mix. She's currently making up songs to the tune of Defying Gravity from Wicked. At least she isn't in pain, or doesnt' care if she's in pain. I can't determine which it is.
It's going to be an interesting few days.
