...if you need a giggle....and a question!!

I have been going through a lot lately and have spent this last week since my sugery ducking the universe in my bed...spending all my time online and looking at tons of just crap!

Besides theknot...I spend a lot of time on another bridal site off beat bride....since I am a bit of a funky bride...with tattoos and glasses and a victorian/goth/steampunk kinda look...the author on that site/blog posted a link that just about made me fall out of my bed!

....so HAHA way too funny...and well....since I do consider myself more of an off beat kinda girl... I am wondering from people who have been scouting and maybe some locals....where would YOU have a reception?? If budget and time and everything were not a factor...where would you go? what would you do?

Not at all am I saying I dont have a budget...but since you guys got me on the idea of collecting ideas ...I want to know all your crazy ideas!

    HAHAA, I really like that blog, but I hadn't read this post yet. Her drawings are so good too, I've been there with this one.

    Um....dream weddings and venues. I'm actually good with what we're doing for the ceremony and that's evidenced by the fact that we're actually under budget. MB is our favourite hotel and has some meaning to us, so I wouldn't change that. I may go all fancy and rent out a steakhouse for the reception though and get some entertainment going, dancers, etc.

    I know with unlimited funds my first priority would be to fly in the people that couldn't make it and pay for their trip. Probably on a private jet, because that's how we roll.

    I have only walked through MB...and when I go scouting, I really need to get in there and really look around. Everyones pictures have been amazing...and I just kinda didnt know about all that MB had to offer.

    You should do some photos at the Neon Museum, basically a grave yard of classic Vegas casino signs from locations that have since been blown up for the new mega resorts.

    Ooo... I had seen a few random wedding/engagement pics there but have not looked into it much...I love it! Thanks for the link...so kinda post apocalyptic style...Vegas after the great storm or something.... will make for some amazing photos!

    Check with Marilyfan about Neon Museum.  I think she was the one who wanted to do pics there, but couldn't because they are closed till fall or something?

    Thanks Ellenalabama ... I did see on their site they are closed until fall...which works out OK for me...my date is not until 2012... so I have a long ways to go! Lets just hope that summer they are not renovating again!

    By 2012 they may implode another 5 casinos so could be all kinds of new additions by then. :)
