BP Gifts

If 2 people in the BP are married, is it OK to get them a shared gift rather than 2 individual ones?  For example, my sister is my MOH and her husband is one of J's groomsmen.  I'm starting to think about what to get everyone and since they have a lot of shared interests I was wondering if I could get 1 gift for the both of them.

Re: BP Gifts

  • I think that would be good as long as it's something they both like.

<div>Oh definitely!  I might still get them individual gifts, but have both gifts be something they can enjoy together.  Just wanted to make sure I wasn't breaking an etiquette rules if I did get them a shared gift.</div>

  • i've never heard of it being a rule, but I definitely didn't hear a lot of them from here.  I think it would be awesome if H and I were in a wedding together and they just gave us a bigger gift card to somewhere, or something we could both use.

  • Sure! But if you are giving your girls (or everyone) gifts together and they're going to compare, I'd probably make sure their one gift is a bit bigger/more than the individual gifts. Like, I'd get them a $50 gift if you're spending $25 on everyone else. Give or take.

  • Yup...that's what I do.  Double the budget if it's a shared gift.  Thanks for the input ladies!
