So excited I have to share, and I'm sure this is the board that will understand my excitement. I found my dress last week (pic in bio) and fell in love with it, but sort of had to talk myself into believing that, "yeah... this is totally something Myrna Loy would wear," in order to justify choosing it for my wedding. I was just browsing vintage 1930s stuff on Etsy (literally, searched 1930s), and ran across a vintage gown that has really similar features! Sooooo excited that my dress is historically appropriate! Plus, I think mine is way more flattering than the real vintage one. Yay!
