Marriage Certificate-how long?

Does anyone know how long it takes to get your marriage certificate back?
I'm anxious to start all the name-changing fun!   Thanks in advance.

    I got married 12.11.10 and when we got back from our honeymoon on Christmas day, it was either in the mail or had already arrived.  I went to the Social Security office Jan. 5th.

    We were able to pick ours up 2 weeks from our wedding. :)

    I got married 5/21 in Milw. Co.  Pastor mailed the certificate in on that day (Saturday), when I called the Co. on 5/27, they had already entered it and it was available for pickup at the courthouse.  I was impressed with how fast it was.
