Today is our R.S.V.P Deadline!!! (VENT)

And not even half of the invites that we sent out have been returned!! I.HATE.PEOPLE!!! It just don't make no kind of sense! I put the stamp on the envelop and an address label!! Really!!! and you can't write some darn names on the card and put it in the mail! I will never plan any type of wedding vow renewal!! To the Island I go!! Okay! Vent over!

    Doesnt that make you mad??? I am having to call people and I spent $$$ on stamps and all they have to do is write how many, seal the envelope and drop it in the box...TRIFLIN!!!

    I am with you when you're right!  RSVP's are a trip... what I hate the most is the "facebook rsvp"  ... "Hey girl! What's the last day I can RSVP? uh... yesterday! "Can u put me down for two?"  um...no.

    Breathe Date Twin!  We have truly hit "crunch time" and I am feeling your pain!  FI's people took the longest to respond and luckily he had no problem following up with them via email/phone/text (repeatedly) until he got an answer.  So we are all done with the list, but it sucks to hit your RSVP date and not have everyone's response - I was there too a couple of months ago! 

    Oh and BTW I'm with you on the vow renewal - if we do it, it will be very small and preferably in a far away destination.  :)

    I feel your pain.  I have two weeks left until the RSVP deadline and I'm still waiting for over half.  I just don't get it.  What's so hard about sending it back?!

    my invites come in on tuesday and i am sending them out next weekend so that i give them more than enough time! I cannot wait for the rsvp to be over with lol

    We got a wedding invite two days before the R.S.V.P deadline and the bride did NOT include a stamp on the return postcard.

    That happend to me last month. Fi's cousin sent us the invitation 4 days before the rsvp date and had no stamp but they made sure to have a registry card. Tacky crap! I knew then....this wedding was going to be unorganized.

    I agree with PP...breathe...and remember the MOST important people that need to be at the wedding are you and your FI...try not to get overly stressed out over   stragglers and people who obviously don't understand the concept of a RSVP!.

    I didnt put a stamp on my RSVP envelopes for this reason.  I knew a majority of the people would forget and not mail it in, so money saved for me.  I gave them the option of online RSVP or even calling.

    Girl....we're in the same boat. My rsvp deadline is tomorrow & only half have come in. I refuse to call folks. I'll just send a text that says, "mail back your rsvp card in order to reserve your seat at the wedding". That's it. My mom will probably call, but I won't. Theres nothing to talk about. Ugghhh.......people.

    My date is monday and I have yet to receive half. So that means I will have to get on the phone and do some calling. The nerve of some people..especially after I bought these darn stamps! We can vent together :)
