I usually HATE shower games-- but I played this one and it was fun! The bride starts holding the prize and someone reads the following poem. The gift gets passed around until the end!

Pass the Gift (we have one gift we pass around as this poem is read)

    1. There are lots of gifts for you today. But not this one-so don’t delay. Hold it up and wave goodbye, and give it to the
    person who had to fly.

    2. Family and friends came from places near and far. Now please pass the gift to the one with the longest ride in their
    car.

    3. Lucky you! Or maybe not. Be a sweetie, and please do lend, the gift you have to Beth’s oldest friend.

    4. Ah, success! You win the prize! But not for long, that’s no surprise. Look around. Now, stop and think. The gift now
belongs to the one with most pink.

    5. You think you are the lucky one, but let us all share in the fun! Look around with eyes discreet, and give it to the one
    with the smallest feet.

    6. Your feet are tiny and very small. Now hand it to someone who is very tall.

    7. Please take your time and don’t be harried. Give it to the one who is longest married.

    8. You must be proud of your married life, now pass this on to the newest wife.

    9. (Bride) and (Groom) are counting down to their special day. We’re all excited, it’s not far away. Now give the gift to the
one with the most recent birthday.

    10. The largest earring I’m looking for now, if you’re wearing them, step up with a bow.

    11. Now don’t get cross and please don’t fight, but pass it to the lady third on the right. We should stop now, don’t you
agree? The gift is yours to open and see.

If the bride is going to open gifts, you can put a timer on for a couple of minutes and whosever gift she is opening when it goes off, gets a gift.

The toilet paper game- a table or group gets a roll of toilet paper to make a wedding dress.

My friends got personalized scratch-off cards that went with my wine theme and they could put out as many winning cards at the tables as they wanted.  Not sure where they got them.

    GL!

For my shower my sisters had two games at everyone's seat. A sheet with multiple choice questions and a page of word scrambles. They had enough prizes so that whoever got the most questions right on each would win.

Interestingly enough, I think I was only few people who correctly unscrambled:  ilev. It's veil! It's a bridal shower! Almost everyone that was there thought it was  live!

They had the games on the table to pass the time while the guests were waiting for me to arrive. But when I got there, my sisters wanted me to do the scramble to see how many I could get right. Not the questions because I knew all the answers!
But the scramble I did so quickly, they thought I was copying off of someone! I said - I didn't need help, it's all about wedding stuff! lol! I had the page done in about 3 minutes! The only one I couldn't figure out was terla (alter)

ps - thanks for the opportunity to reminisce! :)
