why is it FI? If it's DH/DS/DD etc why isn't it DF?

FI = Fiance
DH = Dear Husband
DS = Dear Son (I assume, I have never seen this one)
DD = Dear Daughter

What is DF supposed to be?

I like DF or FH (future husband). FI just doesn't come naturally to me. I don't know! I don't even abbreviate when I text!

I use DF on other message boards I post on. It just isn't the convention here.

Blech, I don't like DF or FH. FI is the perfect abbrv for fiance. I even prefer H over DH. I love T and all but I'm never going to be calling him "dear husband"
