I'm pretty sure this is usually a Wednesday post...

Had to start is because I'm flying down to NC tomorrow for work, just went to check in online, and realized that I SPELLED MY NAME WRONG when booking. I've been on the phone for an hour trying with customer service trying to get this resolved without cancelling and rebooking. Gah!

    Confession#1- I really hope DD's daycare calls me and tells me to pick her up because of her cough today.
    Confession#2- I was piiiiisssssed at FI this morning over the dumbest stuff. He didn't turn the light off behind him when he came upstairs to leave, so I had to go back down and turn it off, he ducked in the bathroom before me and took his sweet old time, then did a half assed job shoveling, grumbling the whole time how he hates snow, so I had to follow behind him and do it again. I wanted to remind him so badly that it's effin 5 am. Does he think I want to be out here shoveling? No! I want to be in my nice warm bed, sleeping. But, here I am, driving him to work.  He just drove me effin crazy. Every little thing.

    Oh thank god, I needed this today.

    So, remember the smutch on the pictures that my MIL ordered?  The photography studio said they would retouch them and send them out.

    ..that was three weeks ago.  Still haven't received them.  According to someone at the studio they were sent out on the 27th.

    I confess I think I almost died starting week 2 of C25K last night. Not sure how I am going to make the whole way through.

    Last night we went to Home Depot to buy the rest of the paint we need for the house. 2 of the colors don't look anything like the paintchip and I am nervous to see what they look like when they are on the walls.

    I am determined to finish this time! I started last year before but downloaded the podcast that had techno music so I gave up quick. This time I found a podcast with better music!

    Nicole - you can modify the program if you need to, or you can repeat a day.  I think its pretty flexible.

    JIY- Paint dries waaay different. The sheen makes a difference too. Color cards are usually in satin, so if you got a semi gloss, it'll vary a little.

    Reds look pink in the cans:) I used to love freaking people out when I mixed reds for them... the looks on their faces when I opened the cans were priceless.

    Confession- I really don't want to spend the $75.60 on the damn speeding ticket I got in Fenwick over the weekend... But I'm thankful the police officer was nice enough to drop me from 51 in a 35 to 41 in a 35. :D

    I think I may do 4 days each week instead of 3. I didn't do anything Saturday or Sunday and I think that may have been a big impact on me too.

    Already AW'd my incredible awesome hubbie in the morning post for taking care of me yesterday :)

    Vent: Dear MIL,
    I appreciate you wanting bonding time with me and your daughter- but please don't include me in your play package next year. The plays this year haven't been my thing and sundays at 7pm is not a good time for people who have to work the next day. So next time- ask me first before you buy a whole season of tickets for me.  :-P

    Related to my post in the H&F thread.... today is the first day my rings fit properly (and by properly, I mean they are a bit loose and spinning).  For the past few weeks, I've felt like I was forcing small hoops on a fat sausage.

    I've been lucky enough that my mom has done so much for me.  It doesn't help that I am planning from 5 hours away though.

    Vent:  My MOH is pissing me off.  She came to my parents Friday night to help me, my mom, and other 2 BMs stuff my invites.  Right before we started she decided to paint her nails red!  Really you said you wanted to come over and help, but then painted your nails as we started.

    Amy- I wish more people would help. Everyone says they want to, but when I ask if they can do something (like collect and check addresses) they suddenly are busy, or don't want to. FI is also no help. He wants to be, but unfortunately the stuff I need done, he can't do - except get addresses - I've only been on EVERYONE about them for what seems like ages. I swear, I'm gonna scream if I don't have the straglers soon.

    TCT:  I started getting addresses last summer for our wedding in April.  I know how his family is so I figured I would do it early.  If you ever need help with anything I don't live far so let me know.


    AW:  I had my shower this weekend and my FI and I started opening stuff last night.  It was just like Christmas morning.

    Ev-  I wasn't expecting the AW post to be today so I don't have pictures yet.  I did my hair and makeup trial in the morning (I'll post pictures tomorrow) and then had my shower.  The food was amazing and I got a ton of gifts.

    For my bach. party we went to dinner and then went out to a piano bar in Pittsburgh.  It was so nice seeing my friends.  Not all of my friends live in Pittsburgh anymore so it was nice that a lot of them made the trip.  Like I said I'll have pictures tomorrow!

    Aww Paprika and Amy, you two are too sweet! I started gathering addresses last summer too. FI and FMIL are, to put it nicely, total procrastinators - despite my constant nagging.

    Amy we may need to have a sushi date soon so I can meet you!

    I will also confess that I really want to invite some knotties to my wedding.

    AW: I just paid off my dress!!! 5 minutes ago!!!  Thanks, State Tax Refund.   Also I got the address stamp that I ordered from Etsy last week, and it's super cute!

    Hair/Salon AW: I went back to blonde again after a very short hiatus as a brunette. DH gave me a friendly "told ya so" when I decided to get highlights because he knows I always experiment with other colors and go back to the standard in the end. I also wanted to AW my brand new salon-of-choice (Thanks Cait!!) - In Touch Studio in Southhampton. I highly recommend Nicole!! Love her!


    Ps - I will not be posting any pics of the new color because **VENT** my skin is God-awful the last couple days because it is almost TOM. GRRRRRRRR!
