Already married and the rest... must have recs, regrets, etc...

Just curious if any of you have advice on what you would have done differently, would you have spent less on one thing to have something else or a better something else. I was just talking to a recently wed lady at work and she wish she spent less on decor and got a better cake. She also wished they'd had a videographer because she remembers so little about her day.

A guy chimed in he wished they spent less on booze and more on entertainment, because people left and they have enough left over alcohol for another wedding. He said we hired a $450 DJ and I guess we got what we paid for... sometimes a deal isn't really a deal.

Another bride said she wished she didn't spend $600 on shoes no one saw and she took off at the start of the reception because they hurt. She would have bought more hot appetizers or had more money on their honeymoon.

Wondering what your thoughts are???

I wish DH and I spent more time with the photographer.  We didn't get too many pictures of just us.

I didn't spend much on decor, just what we got from the florist.  I found a venue that didn't need much to make it beautiful.

If you're stumped on vendors.  Ask a vendor you already have.  DH found our photographer and recommended our florist and assured me that our officiant was the best.

I wish we would have done a photo booth.  I think my family would have gotten a kick out of it and I'm sure they would have provided some great pictures.
