Small wedding bflo NY

Im having a small (50ppl) wedding and having problems finding a place that would do just 50 ppl.  Its a summer wedding 2012.  Any suggestions??

    I would try looking at more restaurant style places instead of typical reception venues.  The Protocol on Transit can accomodate different size groups.  I had my shower there and it was wonderful.  Banchetti's has a beautiful outdoor gazebo.  There are smaller rooms at Salvatore's or Lucarelli's that might be the right size for you.

    What kind of place are you looking for?
     
    Like other suggested try looking for places that would do showers or smaller venues.

    -Eagle House
    -Russel Steak House
    -Timber Lodge (Akron,NY)
    -Old Red Mill
    -University Inn
    -Protocol

    What about the Marcy Casino at Delaware Park or the Buffalo Historical Society?  I liked both venues, but my wedding was too large.

    Orazio's in Clarence has banquet facilities for smaller groups...good Italian food!

    I second orazios as my #1 rec

    also look at:

    brierwood- they have a smaller room too

    the fairdale

    canalside, the area is long and thin so if you had it there it wouldnt feel as bare

    it only holds 45 ppl but is very quant-  the asa ransom house- it's a b&b in clarence

    Asa is gorgeous but my experience has always been that the pwner is snooty and inflexible. I hate EVERYTHING about the Fairdale (just MHO)...terrible food, very pricey. Marcy Casino is beautiful, I know there was some issue with booking there for this year but I dont know what the deal was.  Someone suggested restaurants and I agree. Bijoux is gorgeous and intimiate.
