Hey, I know I saw one of you mention that you had Cadence Cornelius for the boudoir photos. I contacted her and I couldn't believe her price- SO CHEAP compared to all others (maybe 6 others)- $225 for hair/make up, clothing consulation, photo shoots, and DVD of images that I'm able to print on my own. She can include an album for an additional cost. Album is another $150.

I know somebody said they had a great experience with her. Was the quality of  the photos good? Would you recommend her?? I'm leaning towards her- another person in my mind is our wedding photographer John Hanson for $195 (usually $295) plus the costs for hair/make up artist ($75-$150) depending on what I want. Plus abother $250 for an album.

Feedback please??

    I'd say go for it!  I worked with her and had a great time!  She was the best value I could find as well.  I thought the pictures were done well...I just wasn't inlove with myself in them!  It had NOTHING to do with her or the photos, I just think I am not good at making sexy faces ;)

    She is super nice and I felt TOTALLY comfortable doing it.  Whoever you end up going with, have a blast!

    I kind of feel bad going for somebody other than our photographer- is this okay?

    Oh and if anybody who has had Cadence- any one of you willing to show me samples of her work? Don't worry if you'd rather to keep them private, I understand :)

    I had Cadence, and I LOVE my photos.  I don't mind showing you some of my pics - PM me your email address and I will just share the album I made.

    You can completely go with someone besides your wedding photog... there aren't probably a lot of photogs that even do b-pics anyway, so I would say its much more common to have a different person for b-pics.  I have to say too.... I would NEVER let a man do this.  I would feel super uncomfortable and it would show through the pictures.  Plus I wouldn't want my FI to ever have to know that I let another man take sexy pictures of me - while we were engaged - plus who was going to be all buddy-buddy with him at our wedding!!  SO AWKWARD.  Go with Cadence.  She's amazing.  :)

    I wanted to use her but I couldn't get in with her as she was booked. She recommended Emma Freeman photography. I had my shoot last week and it was awesome. Her prices are on her webite!

    I had Cadence do mine... and I can tell you that I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM! She's amazing! If you PM me your email address I can send you a few of them! It was a 3 hour long process (1.75 hrs for hair/make-up) and I ended up booking Amber (her make-up artist) for my wedding day! I cannot express how happy I am with the photos that I got from Cadence. I took the CD and am making my own book via mixbook. Her prices are truly amazing, and her studio is INCREDIBLE. I can tell you that I am NOT a person to walk around pretty much naked in front of other people and be comfortable... (I don't typically go swimming with other people around!!!!!!) but with her I was able to change and walk out and around her studio NO problem. She made me truly feel beautiful and it shows in my photos! I cannot say enough about Cadence and Amber.

    I agree with PP about NEVER having a man do my b-pics... That is something I don't think I could ever handle. I am not using Cadence for our wedding photos, and I think it's nice NOT to use your wedding photographer for a couple reasons including 1. getting different perspectives on YOU 2. I don't think I could handle knowing that my wedding photographer saw me pretty much naked and now is with my entire family taking their photos...

    Wow! I feel much better about considering Cadence. I was feeling guilty about not using my photographer but you ladies made several good points. I was kind of not sure about having a male doing this for me, but now I feel better :)

    Hahahahah @MeKaiKoo - I will be wearing a wedding dress on Oct 8 and you will be in lingerie. I love it! :) Big day for both of us! :)

    I went to Cadence for mine. I have high standards being a photog myself, but she did a great job making me feel comfortable. I wasn't a huge fan of how the photos turned out or that I only got 30 of them total for the price, but she worked with me to make me happy. I ended up re-editing them myself later too but thats again, because I'm just picky.... and like doing it!

    Many people have had great experiences with her. Just be sure you understand how many photos you will be getting from the session for the price. I know many photogs give u all of them nowadays for the price. :)
