Dinner for my Birthday

So, FI has offered to take me out to dinner. He told me I could go anywhere... Here's my only problem:
There are simply too many options.
I have narrowed it down to.... Anywhere. :)
Any ideas? Thanks.

Do you like Italian? There's a little place hidden in the Short North called Basi Italia. Very intimate!

What part of town?  What's your favorite?  Do you like fancy-schmancy or more casual?  Prefer good wine or tasty beers?

I just saw an article somewhere about how Columbus is a hidden "foodie" gem, lol.

This isn't the article, but some reviews of local joints: http://www.columbusunderground.com/tag/restaurant-reviews

    HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY!

I prefer good food. I don't care if that mean fancy or not. I would rather have good wine over beer. I like to get dressed up. I like almost all types of food. Medittereanean, to italian to British to Mexican, to African to hotdogs and hamburgers to Greek. I like Irish food, I like scottish food. I just love food!
That's the other thing that I am struggling with. hahaha
Thanks for the website, I will definitely look into that. :)

So what if you did like a food crawl?

Pick a part of town grab a drink at one place, appetizer at another, possibly salad or soup at a third, the fourth grab the main course, and hit dessert somewhere else?

If you want good wine and good food, I would definitely recommend Vittoria in Powell. It's Italian and the food is so delicious! I'm thinking about possibly having the RD there. =)

We have decided to get gelato at Cholcolaterie Stam in Westerville for dessert. Still debating on apps, drinks, and main courses.

<div>I second this, one because it is AMAZING food, and it is 2 minutes from my house. And two, she knows what she is talking about (I went to college with her always has good advice).  :D</div>
