Pre-wedding Parties

Where To Begin Planning A Bachelorette Party In Vegas?

I love my maid of honor but she's not the most pro-active person, so I suggested Vegas (strongly suggested) for my bachelorette party. All 7 bridesmaids seem down with the idea, so now I don't know where to begin? Has anyone out there done this? Where to stay, where to go, what to do? I've only heard stories, so I don't have any idea where to begin.
I would love some ideas!! Thanks!! :)

It's bad etiquette to plan a party in your honor. If you MOH or BM's want to give you a bachelorette in Vegas, they will.

It's very poor form to plan your own bachelorette party, so I'm assuming you're not doing that. Your MOH doesn't HAVE to plan one, either. Anyone can, but they have to offer it to you.
If you want to plan a group trip to Vegas, go for it, but don't call it a bachelerette party and make yourself the guest of honor.

Either way, if you're looking for ideas (even if you're not planning and just want some suggestions, which is perfectly fine) here you go...
I would treat it like any other trip. Look around at some hotels and ask about group rates. Check with each girl for their budget and how much they are willing to spend. Treat it like any other trip... if any of the girls has a AAA card, you can sometimes get amazing deals or try Priceline or one of those things for discounts.

I love Vegas and I suggest staying on the strip or as close to the strip as possible. I noticed that popular places for girl groups to stay are usually The Palms, The Hard Rock Hotel and The Stratosphere because of their bars and nightlife. The Orleans is pretty cool, too. The Palms and The Orleans are off the strip, but you can get transportation really easily.
    Try googling this...
    "vegas bachelorette party packages"

    and going here...

Also, check out <a href="http://www.harrahslasvegas.com/casinos/harrahs-las-vegas/restaurants-dining/carnaval-court-bar-and-grill-detail.html">Harrah's nightlife</a> and Margaritaville.

My favorite is Downtown Vegas on Fremont Street, it's amazing, especially at night!

I forgot to add, one of the most important things... at some places if you tell them it's a bachelorette party, you can sometimes scores free stuff. True story.

We stayed at Planet Hollywood, loved it, good price, booked in advance at travelocity.com. We liked the location because it's in the middle of everything. We started off with choosing dates, booked flight/hotel package.

Then we made list of places we'd like to go, if you want adult male entertainment, there's Chippendales and Thunder from Down Under to look into, I recommend both.
