String quartet for wedding ceremony

Any suggestions for a string quartet to play during our wedding ceremony? Thanks!

Re: String quartet for wedding ceremony

  • We're using Sterling Strings of Shenango. They get great reviews, and were more affordable than other options I saw.
  • We used them too!! Loved them!!
  • We're using a string quartet arranged through Steven Vance.  They've been awesome to work with so far.  Affordable compared to others I looked at, plus they are very responsive.   I fell in love with the string version of A Thousand Years, so I want to use that for my processsional song.  I emailed the group leader, and within 2 days he had found the sheet music for it and they are going to learn to play it for me!   :-)   The only extra charge for it was the $30 it cost to purchase the sheet music - not bad!

We also booked our DJ through S Vance, as well as a strolling violinist for cocktail hour and during dinner.   If you haven't booked your DJ yet, you can get a discount by booking your quartet and DJ together.
  • I used students from Carnegie. They were amazing, professional, and cost effective. You can contact the college for a listing of students. I went with a student named Elise and her quartet.
