  I consider Wild Basin more it's own destination spot as guests wouldn't casually pop out to get breakfast at Estes Park — it's too far away. That aside, they've got a great track record for excellent service and views speak for themselves ...

  Lionscrest is closer to stores, bars, etc (in Lions) and has it's own mansion-on-the-hillside vibe, relying less on the a traditional Colorado look (log, aspen, etc)

  I went to a wedding this summer at Lionscrest and everything was absolutely beautiful.  If you are going for the ambiance I would recommend it, but if you are going for the experience I would look somewhere else..  Everything was very rushed, and I got the feeling that there was time limit on getting everyone out as quickly as possible. I've been to a few weddings and  I probably had the least amount of fun at this one.

  I attended a wedding at Lioncrest a few years ago and it was gorgeous.  Perfect spot for a Colorado wedding.
