How long was your engagement?

We got engaged on August 22, 2009. We'll be getting legally hitched July 15th, 2010, but the big wedding (or as jenlinn calls it, Pretty Princess Day) is next summer.

So technically, less than 12 months.

Ours will be 13 months. It would have been longer - we were planning on getting married in the fall - but we couldn't get the ceremony location/reception to match up. At times i feel like i need so much more time to get everything done, but other days i'm just ready for it to be all over with!!

The plan was to move out to Seattle, then get maried in NJ in two years and move back.

It will be exactly 19 months on our wedding day, but he popped the question really early and shocked me---we'd only been together 6 months when he proposed. So I definitely wanted a long engagement.

17 months since I got my ring and really started planning. He asked me to marry him with his gmas ring when our son was born. So 5 years 8 months I think I beat everyone

We have been planning on getting married for years, but we just started planning right about 6 months out. I did not want to deal with planning for too long.
