Mod PSA: Siggy Photos

Just a reminder ladies that we all try to keep our siggy pictures to under 250px.  I've noticed quite a few gals have insanely huge photos in their sigs.  It takes up a lot of space and makes the threads harder to navigate. 

What does that mean?  When you upload your photos you're entering code similar to this:

<img src="pictureurl.jpg" width="200px" />

 

You can adjust the size of your sig by changing the number, but 200 is generally a good size. 

This is passing a PSA on from the mod board.  Thanks to everyone for complying!

    I didn't know either!  Nor have I seen this posted on the board I frequent the most.

    I became mod about a week back - we didn't have one and the board is gettinhg busier, so KA appointed me mod, since I'm already one over on the May 2011 board.

    JBerg - I don't know that all moderators will post the PSA.  I know that some boards like E or SB will just comment on someone's large siggy photos until they change it.  But one of the mods for a month board mentioned that a lot of her gals had insanely huge siggy photos and asked Knottie Anne what we should do about it.  So a PSA was decided on. :)

    This wasn't an issue with the Wisco board, but I threw it up there anyway. 

    Don't shoot the messenger? :)
