How does this look?

This was the one thing I thought I wouldn't have any trouble with! I was wrong :)

Parents on both sides are contributing...the reception is at a different location later in the day. I know a lot of people are against gaps, but a lot of guests specifically requested time to explore the park, so we made it happen.

  • thanks, I thought it sounded off, somehow. It was a template that came with the invites that I tried to follow. Squirrly, I see your point about wordiness, aren't the "joyful" and "celebration" parts assumed with a wedding? Unless shotguns are involved. ;)
    I believe i will go ahead with the simple version - thanks for the third-person tips too.

    Exactly!  It gets redundant, and then I hear a 16 year old HS cheerleader voice in my head, squeeing through the whole thing. 

    "eeeeee!  joy! ful!  cele! bration!"

    Makes me want to pull my hair out.  I'm glad you like the simple version.  It's just easier to read, I think.  Good luck!
