I got an internship position for my final semester of college at a very popular late night talk show! I didn't get my first choice of department, but it was a very competitive process so I'm just glad I was accepted.

AND it fulfills the rest of my credits so I don't even have to take classes next semester before I graduate in May.

Boo. Yeah.

    Many of the people I spoke to at the show were former interns, so it seems that if you do a good job as an intern, you are rewarded.

I would have been happy in any department, really, but my top choices were Talent (booking celebs) or Production. Oh well. </div>

    Congrats!  A friend of a friend also interned on a popular talk show in NYC a few years ago and now she's out working in LA (I forget for what studio), but it sounds like it's definitely a great way to get your foot in the door at a lot of places.  Good luck and be sure to share lots of good stories with us :)

    That's awesome!  Congrats...sounds like an awesome opportunity and yay for fulfilling your credits for graduations!  Also, I for one think that working with people other than celebs would be better.
