My dress is making me weep...and not in a good way

Okay...I've lost ten pounds since I bought my dress. The seamstress at the bridal shop took it in, but it wasn't enough. She took it in a little more, but then she did something with the panel in the back and now the very top of the back may be too small! I'm totally stressing out...I really don't want to lose too much more weight, though I know I will with all the running around, but I don't want to worry about it. The seamstress really was not that nice about it, either...it was like she couldn't get me out of there fast enough. The cups also look horrible!

I finally picked it up and brought it home and tried it on. Granted, I'm by myself so I couldn't lace it and had to snap it then flip it around and try to pull it up, but I am so unhappy with how it looks.

I asked a friend of mine, whose son just got married, if she could give me the name of the seamstress who altered her daughter-in-law's dress. This dress was huge and the bride was tiny, and though I didn't go to the wedding, my friends all told me the seamstress did a miraculous job taking it in. My friend gave me the name and number, and she agreed to help me out, but I am WIGGING!!!! If the dress isn't just right, I will be so distracted...

Cry

Arggghhhhh.....

Relax. Take a deep breath. I am sure everything will be fine. Call the recommend seamstress and she what she says. Dresses can be taken in much easier than they can be let out, so you definitely have that going for you.

Okay, tonight, relax.  You can't do anything about it tonight, it's too late.

Call your BFF in the morning and have her help you into it properly.  If she also think it looks off, you can go back to the dressmaker over the weekend.

Thank you, everyone...my distress was not helped by having to get up at 5 to be at work at 6 to do training (and only 1 of 4 people scheduled showed up!!!), then I tried to get ahold of my FI all day and couldn't reach him (this NEVER happens), so I was Super Weepy! But I talked to him not too long after I posted this, and your instructions to breathe really helped! Thank you!!
