Programs, do you really need them?

I'm having a small ceremony and reception in the same location, do you really think it's necessary to have programs?

I have been wondering the same question, I think it all comes up to how long the ceremony is, if there is a lot to follow I guess it is helpful.... I am trying to decide still!

Unless you are having a really complicated ceremony programs are not needed.

I think they are helpful if you have a huge wedding party or complicated ceremony. If the guest list is small enough where everyone can hear everything and see everything... and pretty much most folks know each other... I don't think its necessary at all.

I am having an outdoor wedding with about 150 ppl and I am not having them. It's a very simple religious ceremony, no longer than a half hour. I just do not have the extra money or TIME to do them
