My fiance's daughter had her baby tonight, a baby girl named Sydney!  I'll see her and the baby tomorrow. Just wanted to share that. I remember from "Gone With the Wind" when Melanie said "The best days are when babies are born".... so true.

    No, he has 2 others from another daughter who lives in Hawaii. But it's the first one I get to spend a lot of time with.

    Congratulations! I just became a first time grandma this past December. It is an unbelievable feeling! Unfortunately, my daughter lives in North Carolina so I am a distant grandma, but she is always sending me videos on my phone of the little cherub who is now 7 1/2 months old! Enjoy that baby!!

    Congrats!  That's so sweet!  FSIL is due to have her baby TODAY so we'll see when the little girl decides to come out and meet us all.
