FAUX Feather Hair Fascinators

I love the look of feathers in hair fascinators, but I would prefer to use fake feathers. I've researched the process of using real feathers for decorative pieces and many people say that animals are not harmed when taking their feathers, but I would still prefer to use fake.

However I am having a hard time finding faux feather hair pieces.

Does anyone have any suggestions on where I can find them?

    There is no such thing as a fake feather that I am aware of on the market. There are "vegan" feathers, which are humanely harvested. You can also make some approximation out of fabric or paper. I would like to know where people get the idea that there are faux feathers on the market- it comes up with some frequency and I'm never sure where the idea originates.
