  Have you checked out the Mori Lee 2012 collection? They had some really pretty dresses on their fb page. If you find a dress you really like that's a bit over your budget then try pearl's place, alot of the ladies on this board have used that store and they have nothing but great thing to say about it.

  That's the crazy thing...they don't tell you the designer until you purchase....and they don't let you change alone...I tried looking at the tags and there were none lol....

  I would search the internet for the dress.  Type in key words in google such as pick ups, beading, pearls, a-line.  See if you can find it that way.  What is the name of the store that wouldn't tell you? Maybe they have a photo on their website. If you can't find it that way I say go back with a friend.   Tell the store you were not sure and wanted to get a friends option.   Take a camera phone or camera with you.  Take photos of yourself in the dress.  Once you have the photo post of this board.  WE WILL FIND THAT DRESS AND THE DESIGNER! I am pissed that they wouldn't tell you so I would search the web until I found it. LOL  Good luck.
  
   I bet since they won't give out the designer you can get that same dress somewhere else for half the price.

  I went to a store like that downtown LA where they didn't have the designer's tags in the sample gowns.  I knew what dress I wanted to try on and asked for the specific dress (a Mori Lee, BTW).  I tried it on and loved it. I asked them the price of the gown and they told me their store price. Mind you, they advertise themselves as having the lowest prices of wedding gowns in all of Los Angeles....  The dress I wanted was being sold for $300 LESS at about 6 stores that are all walking distance from said SUPER DISCOUNT store I was in.  I told the owner the price of the dress in other stores and he was not willing to budge on the price.  I politely walked out, sent the consultant a thank you note for her time, and bought the same dress at a store about 6 blocks away that sold me the dress for $300 less and did free alterations. 

  
  

  All that said, do not be afraid to comparison shop stores in your area for pricing. If they are unwilling to disclose the style number or pricing, I would shop somewhere else. If you know the designer, the website should list retailers that sell the gown in your area. It also sounds like Pearl's Place may be a good option too. I thought I got a good deal on my dress. I don't even want to know what the price would have been at Pearl's Place.

  Yau'll are sooooo awesome!!! SO i took yau'll advice...went in with a friend and we were able to get the designer lol!!! It's a La Sposa gown from the 2012 collection....the only bad things is Pearl's place does not carry it...i'm calling around all day today but it looks like the prices i'm getting are even higher than 2550...ugghhhhh

  YAY! Glad it worked! lol. I'm sure you'll be able to find it SOMEWHERE! What's the style number? I'm willing to call around in Houston, too. I'm sure if you know what size they'll ship it. I don't see why they wouldn't.

  This is NOT a Hong Kong company.  This bridal store is in IL in the good ol USA.  Check out the website and call them too.  They are the real deal.  Good luck honey so glad you can get your dress.
