Stressing out over wedding/ceremony location!

I'm getting married next year September 20, 2011.  I started looking at different locations in vegas.  I've already ruled a bunch out simply because of cost.  I want it to be nice and in a hotel so I can have the ceremony and reception at the same place.  I don't mind spending a bit of money I just don't want it to be insanely expensive.
The lady at monte carlo has been really helpful and has been very quick to respond to e-mails.  She said that they have recently renovated the chapel and I was wondering if anyone has seen it or had a wedding there?   I'm also interested in the Paris and possibly Flamingo.

If anyone has tips, advice or pictures I'd really appreciate it.

I was looking at the Paris Chapel (Chapelle Du Paradis) and was working with Tina from there, but I ended up switching to Caesars (Classico Chapel).  I decided the Paris was WAY to guady for me, even though the packages offered more than Caesars.  Unforunately, I lost my deposit at Paris but I think I will be happier in the end!
Maybe the Paris is NOT to gaudy for you though!  Just IMO...

I would say go with the one that is most your taste and your budget. I know a lot of brides here use Flamingo. I feel the Paris prices are a little over the top- but that could be that since I am using a stand-alone chapel as opposed to a casino it could be cheaper. (Little church of the west) We knew from the second we saw our chapel that it was the one we wanted to get married in. Choose the one that "feels" right to you, and what you have always dreamed of :)

I was in Vegas about three weeks ago and looked at the chapel at the Monte Carlo.  It is basically a room type setting, pretty neutral decor and the prices for the packages were affordable however it was too plain for me so I ended up choosing Mandalay Bay.

You know a chapel that's rarely mentioned but realy nice is the chapel at Treasure Island. I want to say it's the west(?) chapel. A knottie back in March used them and it was pretty.

I'm using the bigger chapel in the Paris. I think it's lovely and the staff at the Paris have been extremely sweet to me.  I haven't seen the Monte Carlo though. Did the staff send any pictures? The Paris was one of the more attractive chapels to me. I was originally hoping for Caesars (because the casino is iconic) but the staff was so off putting and rude from the very beginning that I figured if they are charging so much ceremonies, they could afford a better attitude.

The Flamingo is nice too. Nice staff from what I could see and lots of options for ceremony spaces.

How big of a wedding are you looking to have? That was a big factor for us. We invited 100 people so that ruled out a lot of places for us.

I'm getting married a month before you and haven't started looking yet.  Don't be stressed.  You'll find the perfect location.

I don't get married often, but when I do, I do it in Las Vegas.

We were on a very tight budget, so we ended up doing the ceremony in the Vista Suite as well as the reception.  You don't get the same frills as the chapels, but we also got to customize our ceremony, which functionally cost nothing.
This is a neglected planning bio.
This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284

Thank you all so much for your help.  We're looking at probably 60-70 people.   I'm just stressing a little cause there is just so many places to choose from in vegas.  And thanks smokey because I've been reading of girls on here having so much done and I'm thinking oh good lord I'm so behind lol.  The woman at the monte carlo has been so nice and very quick to respond to me.  She sent a couple of pictures.  The decor looks very neutral and plain.
