Weightloss Wednesdays

With Tuesdays coming back, it made me think I haven't seen Weightloss Wednesday posted. Please forgive me if I'm mistaken or got the name wrong. I'm on my phone so it is more difficult to look.

So how are you doing with your fitness and exercise?

I joined MFP 45 days ago and have lost 5 pounds so far. I still have 5 to go. I'm also exercising 3x a week or more.

If anyone wants to be friends on MFP let me know.

Re: Weightloss Wednesdays

  • I started the couch to 5k program Monday, so today was my 2nd day. I'm hoping to lose 5-10lbs
  • Now that I'm done with work for the summer, I've been kicking butt! Sunday I went for a 4mi bike ride and a 2mi walk with FI after dinner; Monday I did treadmill intervals for 25 minutes and a mile on the elliptical, then went back to the gym for an hour of Zumba after dinner; yesterday, I went to BodyPump for an hour (circuit training) then did treadmill intervals for 15 minutes; in a little bit, I'm going to go for an hour of kickboxing.

    Woo!!
  • I've been doing really good diet wise, but I really need to get back to the gym.  I still need to loose 10lbs and it's not going to come off with the diet alone.

Hopefully, I can start up again sometime this week.  Tonight and tomorrow night are out, but maybe we can get up there Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  We'll see....

  • Still on Weight Watchers and still losing slowly but surely. I did have a minor freakout a couple weeks ago that my dress was going to be bigger than I thought and would need more alterations, but then I tried on the actual dress and it fit much better than I thought it would. So we're okay! I still may decide to adjust my goal weight, though, just to make that process a little easier.

  • I'm like a PP where I've been doing well with the diet and slacking on the exercise. I've vowed that the next three nights in a row I WILL be on my elliptical, that will get me back in the groove. Thanks for the post!
It doesn't have to be perfect to be everything I want!

  • FI and I started P90X at the end of May and we are mid-week of week 5 (day 31 of 90).

The scale tells me I've lost about 4 lbs (about 1/week) and I'm just going with the flow to lose what I can before I go back to the seamstress about my dress.  I also figure I may have trimmed more than 4 lbs as I'm sure I'm building muscle in some places.

  • I've been so on and off its awful. With 101 days left - I have no nonsense mind set. I have always been pretty athletic, but just been lazy lately, although have been eating better. Most of the gym work that i've done has been conditioning and I really need more cardio in my life if I'm actually going to lose weight. I look better and feel better with the conditioning, but I haven't actually LOST anything, just more toned.

I just finished a marathon in March, so I have zero interest in running, especially in the summer. Swim Across America is coming up, so I'll be in the pool training to swim the MIle in late july... and been spinning at least 1x/week. As long as I feel good and confident, I don't care what the number on the scale is...
  • I just started working out again after 2 months of lazy. My dress fits between just perfect and a teeny tiny bit snug so I'd like to lose 5 lbs before the wedding. I just want to be comfortable.
  • I finally got my butt back to my mixed martial arts class I had been taking a few months ago.  Decided to up it to 2x a week.  Would like to lose another 38 lbs and its been slowing down so definitely needed to add in some movement!!

  • My goal was to lose between 10-15lbs and I officially hit 10! I'm so happy and I think I'm going to try and just maintain this weight, just tone up more.  MFP really helped so I'm gonna stick to that

  • I have been going to an all-women gym in our area, Curves, about 3-4 times a week, lately its only been 2 because i've been so busy with wedding stuff and their hours are hard to correspond with my schedule.  I purchased an exercise mat and dumbells for my office (i'm the only person in there), so in my free time I try and get a quick workout in so i'm not sitting on my butt all the time at my desk.  I've lost a total of 5 lbs and 16 inches in the last couple months, wish I could lose more pounds, but happy with the inches that are going away.

Curious....what is this MFP some of you ladies are talking about?

    HTH!
  • I'm back on weight watchers too and have lost 12 lbs so far!!  I don't have much further to go!  I'm also finally back into going to the gym 5x a week.  I just finished week 7 of c25k and plan on signing up to actually run a 5k in sept.  FI has agreed to "train" me in lifting weights (I know what I'm doing, but he's given me a routine and helps motivate me).  He's been trying to lose some lbs too which makes it easier for me.  He tells people we're trying to get pretty for the wedding lol.

  • No, you are right. I meant to post it today but never got time. Agh! I am trying to think of one for Thursdays. It was KPI Thursday but they have been slow and that is tough. Weightless wise I lost 5 pounds in two weeks. I am doing boot camp again and just a modified diet. Keep it up girls!!

  • I have completely stopped posting my diet and exercise to MFP I need to get back into that.   My diet has been okay I haven't been pigging out and we have been doing REALLY well about not going out to eat.  I have been exercising pretty well lately going on the elliptical and treadmill and swimming.  I also just purchased the new rules of lifting for women I cant wait to get it.
