Purse for MOH

I'd like to get a new purse for my MOH as part of her gift since she has said that she never gets new purses, they're always "hand-me-downs" from friends. Can anyone recommend a brand that would have good purses for under $75? It would need to be a big purse since she always has a book with her. Thanks!

You won't find a larger bag in a designer name like Coach and Dooney & Burke (unless it's a fake) for under $75, but check out TJ Maxx and Marshalls. They have great quality bags at good prices.

Nine West has some good styles and are often on sale at dept. stores Macy's (and found at TJ Maxx).

TX max is where I found one of my DB purses for under 80 I think... and yeah, all the DB purses I put there are on the smaller side... but very cute.

I like Nine West bags, personally. I've bought a few from Marshall's and TJ Maxx, and I also got a nice one from Overstock.com. All were under $50.

I've also seen a lot of Dooney and Burke bags at Marshall's for under $100. If there's a Coach Outlet near you, check there as well. Zappos.com and Macys.com have nice bags in a variety of sizes and prices, too. As far as brands, maybe try Steve Madden, Kenneth Cole, Jessica Simpson and certain Betsey Johnson bags.

My friend/BM is also a book lover, so I often get her a tote bag as a gift since she can fit her books and other stuff in a tote. I just bought her one from Etsy.com for Christmas, and I found a nice one at Marshall's (designed by Gwen Stefani, since she loves L.A.M.B.) for her BM gift for my wedding.

I'm love Nine West and Kathy Van Zeeland. You can get both at pretty decent prices at TJ Maxx, but most of those are in the ball park of $75 even at full retail price.

Also, I know it's not for everybody, but I totally adore Vera Bradley, and most of her bags are in the $35-$50 range.

I adore Big Budha Bags and Kathy Van Zeeland. Both are right around that price range at retail price, and have some great larger options, plus they are very trendy and good quality.

Be careful with Vera Bradley though. Some people LOVE the bags and others like me are just not a fan.

Yeah, Vera Bradley looks fug to some people, though the quality is pretty good. I wasn't sold at first, then my mom bought me a bag, and now I like it. But I like very few of her prints.

I think Guess and Nine West could be a good choice. And I second Marshalls/TJ Maxx.
