@LucyHC Agreed

I'm usually not so self-conscious but it made me uncomfortable when someone on another forum called it hideous (on Hilary Duff - her dress is 'slightly' different). I know dresses are subjective but what a strong insult.

I'm trying it on at the end of the month and I'm really excited!

It is a gorgeous dress! It reminds me of a dress of hers from a few seasons ago that I was in love with, but it didn't love my hips back

I love the mermaid style, but not a fan of bows on a dress.

I'm actually petite, but the dress was designed for Hilary Duff, who's 5'1.
The bow sash is optional, but the bottom detail is all organza rosettes, not bows.

I really like it, but I understand everyone has different styles. I don't think it would look right on me, but it is very pretty.

love it! In fact I just love the mermaid style in general, I also think more people coul'pull-it-off' than they want to give themselves credit for. I like it, but the dress is for you, and your fiance. I would not give second thought to some random persons negative comments, besides, its probably one of those people who dont like anything. I'm kind of eh on it. It's not my style, but I don't find it hideous. To be honest I actually think it looks better on the model than it did on Hilary. It cuts her off in a strange place. It kind of makes her look like a root vegetable.

@Dramageek Agreed. The part where it flares out is more seamless in the new version as the organza from the fitted part continues to wrap around into the rosettes rather than cut off in the harsh way Hilary's is. I saw the sample in person (size 0, looked silly on me) and it's really well made.

@Mattie Lynn I'm trying to let go of it.

There are other brides who wear dresses I would never wear. This is such a stressful process! We found our vendors without difficulty and this shopping is proving to be the hardest part thus far.
