We are having both our ceremony and reception at a golf course which provides their own catering. All food and beverage is charged a 20 percent gratuity, so I am not planning on tipping anyone involved with the food service an additional tip. I've checked and this 20 percent gratuity is distributed to servers, bartenders, etc.
Initially, I was not planning to tip the coordinator provided by the venue. She has helped us with our food tasting, timeline for the day, table arrangements, and been very helpful in answering other questions as well. We have met with her in person twice, and we have exchanged several e-mails. On the day of, she will help to direct vendors, help direct BMs and GMs in the ceremony (ex: telling my FI's 10 year old sister when it is time for her to walk down the aisle), and just keep the day flowing as it should. However, we do all of our own decorating, and she is also the coordinator for the wedding taking place in the other dining room, so she won't be working with us exclusively all day.
Now, I'm second guessing myself and wondering if I should tip her? If so, how much would be appropriate?
