Venue HELP

I'm looking for a venue for 60-70 people with a budget of 70$ per person in the NYC area, (lower manhattan). Any space with enough room to dance. Can't seem to find anything :(

Have you looked into restaruants? Manhattan is really expensive to have a wedding especially when you are on a budget. The only thing i can suggest is look for restaraunts that has the space to dance. It's like finding a needle in a haystack but I'm sure you will find something.

We just looked at The Golden Unicorn. It is delicious Chinese food and there is a huge room with a dancefloor! We are also on a budget, and I think they charge 45 per person max may be less. It doesn't include alcohol, but you can bring your own in and then hire their bartender...

Are you set on Lower Manhattan only? $70/pp in lower manhattan is tough but definitely not for the outer boroughs.

There's this little place called the Alger House, i think by like 6th Ave and Houston. I've been to a friend's birthday party there before, but I've head they do weddings pretty cheaply, especially for Manhattan. Don't know too much about it, but maybe it could work?

Try Roulette - http://roulette.org/about/space-rental/ - they're super great for 70-100 people plus you can decide format and caterers. AND they were delightful to work with.
