OMG I saw these shoes this morning and I fell in love!!!

Of course they are not very "destination wedding" but I think they are gorgeous...

Well, I already have shoes that I love too.... Oh how I wish I was confident enough in my DIY abilities to bling out my heels of my shoes....

How would you think my shoes would look with a blinged out heel??

I think they'd look great with the blinged out heel! If you're questioning your ability, grab a cheap $10 pair of shoes somewhere and try on them first

I think that they would look great with a blinged out heel. I don't think the it would be too hard to do. Isn't it just somekind of craft glue and rhinestones? Start at the top and work you way down.

The glue to use is E6000, best place to buy it price wise I found was Ebay actually (that's what I used on my bouquet stems, and my cake serving set).

For the rhinestones it depends on how much you want to spend. You can get hotfix or swarovski. I have heard the Swarovski 'bling' more but I'm happy with the hotfix ones I used on the cake serving set...

Here is how it turned out, same concept (although you would use smaller sizes likely on the shoes for it to look right):

First of all, let me tell you that both of those pairs of shoes are absolutely fantastic. I love the first pair, but I think yours are even better. A blinged out heel would look amazing.

I ditto PP- buy some cheapo heels at Payless or Target and bling those out as a test to make sure you can do it first. Also, I second Britt's recommendation of E6000. I, too, used hotfix stones but after seeing the sparkle probably would recommend Swarovski if the shiny factor is important to you.

I think you could definitely bling out your shoes! There are tons of how-tos on YouTube... I was watching them and they are really helpful. But yeah, it definitely is easy to do!

GORGEOUUUSSSS.. BTW I LOVE SHOES. Can't decide on a pair for my wedding because I LOVE ALL OF THEM. And both of those are gorgeous... Do a test run first, I agree buying cheapies are worth it

Oh wow, those are fabulous?! Where did you find them? They'll look awesome w/ bling. Do you have a handy friend that could help you out, maybe? I'd be recruiting my mom! I'd be dangerious w/ a glue gun of any sort haha.

The white shoes are Brian Atwood and I found them on the designer's website in white and also in blue, the white one's weren't blinged out on his site but the blue ones were (for about $350). I saw the the white ones blinged out on a designer "knock-off" shoe site.

My shoes I got during and ideeli sale...but I think DSW might still sell them online in the wedding section.

I really think I'm going to try it. I'm pretty crafty, so I think I can handle it, I'm just afraid of messing up on my wedding shoes...lol.... I just need some more confidence before I try it.

I think your shoes would be absolutely fabulous with a blinged out heel. I am also just going to throw this out there but I think you should get both! Could you wear the white ones for like a welcome or rehearsal dinner? Just a thought!
